tonight's Lightning/Red Wings game will be Tampa Bay Lightning general manager Steve Yzerman's first NHL visit,since been hired by Tampa Bay,before last season...Yzerman played so many years,as a member of the Red Wings,that he is known as,"Stevie Y",or,"the Captain"... there is a mural of him inside Joe Louis Arena,and a street named after him,outside the arena.. he should get a standing ovation... side note of NHL history:his sweater retirement ceremony took so long(over 90 minutes)that the NHL changed their timing rules,for ceremonies like that...
