opinions of mine...

i love the beautiful game of hockey, and always will... seeing kids on a flat sheet of frozen crystal ice, skating toward an empty net,and shooting the puck over and over,to hone skills that few kids,or people have, and is a treasure to behold... people have the opinion that hockey is a violent game, but let me say this:it is a very easy game,to play, but very, very hard to master, and is not easy to become a legend,or even good at your craft, because most people who get minor league contracts do not get the call up to the NHL,but the game is beautiful to watch, and very difficult to master(NHL level),so to get there, you have to be a very special talent... so it always goes back to seeing kids,on a flat sheet of frozen crystal ice shooting the puck toward an empty net over and over,to hone skills that few kids,or people have, and is a treasure to behold... as for the game being violent,it is a hard game to play, and a harder game to master... just like NFL football, those two sports are the toughest to play, and the NHL trophy(Stanley Cup) is the toughest trophy to win in sports:sixteen wins in four best of seven series over a two month stretch, even after a eighty two rough and tumble games,of a marathon season, and to make it tougher on the team,a point,in October,in a nothing game,at the beginning of the season, may be tougher to collect, than a point,in April, when the team is fighting for a playoff spot... in my opinion, the point in October is more important than the point in April, because without getting those early points,in October,it sets up the whole season, for a team on the rise...
