a important date,in NHL history,happened fifteen years ago,today:Red Wings started five Russian players,in starting lineup(October 27,1995)... Vladimir Konstantinov,Igor Larinov,Sergei Fedorov,Viacheslav Fetisov,and Vyacheslav Kozlov were the five Russian players... it was the first time in NHL history that a team started five Russians in starting lineup... they were known as, "the Russian 5"...
