commentary...

since October 31,2010:Red Wings are 8-1-1,and 13-3-2,for the season... a very tough team to play, and they came back from two two-goal deficits, against Calgary(down,3-1,after two periods,and,4-2,midway into third period),and then ripping off three late goals,to win,5-4,in overtime, and before an overtime loss,to Minnesota,4-3,they beat St. Louis,7-3,with four goals in 3:14,after being out-played by St. Louis, most of game... in fact they were out-played for over fifty minutes, and still won,in a blowout... even though they have that record(13-3-2),they have not played very well in games, but have not given up,and just refused to lose... that makes the Red Wings a very, very dangerous team to play... they remind me of the 2002 Stanley Cup champions, not as much talent, but they have the intangibles of that team, and everyone is important to play, and they are confident, and very hungry to play their best almost every game... when Dan Cleary scored eight goals in,i believe, seven straight games, you know that the Red Wings are deep in depth, and running on most cylinders, and very dangerous to play, because Cleary is not one of their top guns(goal scorers),but is a very gifted goal scorer... when Jiri Hudler put the puck in the net in off Peter Budaj's(of the Colorado Avalanche) skate, from behind the net,i thought that the Red Wings basically would be a team to play sixty minutes,or more,to win most of their games, and that is the intangibles that the 2002 Stanley Cup champions had,and that makes the Red Wings, possibly, the most dangerous team to play every night...
