Red Wings' goal was an own goal,by Jaroslav Halak,when puck went off shaft of stick,and then off of paddle,behind Halak,in a sweeping motion... credited to Drew Miller... Howard made a toe save,with 0.4 second to play in first period,that could be his best save this year,and Blues are on a power play,with about 35 seconds to go,to start second period... Detroit is playing good defense,and Blues are coming on,but Red Wings are holding fast,so far... very good period...
