as noted earlier,the 2013 Winter Classic will be Toronto Maple Leafs vs Detroit Red Wings,at "the Big House",at University of Michigan,on Jan 1st,2013,or thereabouts... Red Wings wanted Comerica Park,in Detroit,but the NHL overruled them,because attendance would be better... the official announcement will be after the NHL All-Star Game,and when Red Wings will be at home,for a extended period of time... there will be events at Comerica Park,to soothe the Red Wings,like a collegiate outdoor game,or an American Hockey League game there...
