San Jose Sharks traded Andrew Murray,and a conditional 2014 NHL Draft pick,to the Detroit Red Wings,for Brad Stuart,who is supposed to be a unrestricted free agent,on July 1st... actually a good trade for both teams:Stuart played for the Sharks,before being traded to Boston,in the Joe Thornton blockbuster trade,and Detroit got a young stud to bolster their roster,in lieu of losing Stuart,who was not going to re-sign with Detroit,to unrestricted free agency... the Sharks have a good chance to re-sign Stuart,before July 1st...
