commentary...

Damien Brunner, and Joakim Andersson both had two goals, along with Henrik Zetterberg,Dan Cleary,Niklas Kronwall, and Jordin Tootoo, who all had a goal apiece,as the Detroit Red Wings crushed the Vancouver Canucks,8-3,by scoring the last six goals,in the second and third periods... they even had a ninth goal disallowed,by Pavel Datsyuk, because of a high stick, which hit a puck above the crossbar, and into the goal... they were three for five on the power play:Cleary's goal,Zetterberg's goal, and the first goal by Brunner, were power play goals-all three second period goals were on the power play... for the Canucks,Daniel Sedin had two goals,in the first period, but Canucks' goaltender Roberto Luongo had a miserable, and forgettable day, letting in eight goals,in twenty eight shots-a save percentage of .714-a truly horrible save percentage... for a Red Wings' fan,a true delight of a game, not so much, for a Canucks' fan... best offensive game for the Red Wings, this season, not so much for the snowman of goals, but the Red Wings just could not miss a shot, when it counted...
