commentary...

this may be odd to say,but giving up two goals in a regular season game is much different than in the playoffs... i have watched so many games in last twelve plus years that i can basically watch five minutes of legitimate game time, and tell you what goaltender,or team is having their best game, and then predict what team will win game(of course, with other factors,involved)... all three games last night were basically 2-1 games, even though Anaheim scored an empty net goal,in last minute,to make game 3-1,against the Detroit Red Wings, and all three home teams won last night, even though St. Louis won on a supreme gaffe,by the Los Angeles Kings' goaltender Jonathan Quick, behind the Kings' goal that allowed the Blues to score basically an empty net goal, while the Kings were on a four minute power play,in overtime... Jimmy Howard(Red Wings),Josh Harding(Minnesota Wild),and Jonathan Quick(Kings)had good games, but did not play their absolute best in goal(or even close),and in the Stanley Cup playoffs, you need to be focused on stopping the puck at all costs, and their opposing goalies,Jonas Hiller(Ducks),Corey Crawford(Chicago Blackhawks),and Brian Elliott(Blues)had the edge to win a tight,2-1,game,last night...
