commentary...

Todd Bertuzzi scored two goals, and Red Wings scored twice,in forty four seconds, late in third period,to pull away from Edmonton,in a good game... Edmonton tied game at 3 all, midway into third period, erasing a 3-1 lead going into third period,by peppering Chris Osgood, and pressuring Detroit,in their own zone, throughout the third period... Osgood let in a soft goal, off a face-off,in the Red Wings' zone(the fourth goal allowed, off a face off,in last three games)... the puck squeezed through Osgood's pads, and legs,to tie game,at 3,and Edmonton was coming on,but Red Wings scored twice,in forty four seconds in last four minutes,to seal win... Red Wings played well in first two periods, but got sloppy early, and midway,in third period, until Mike Babcock got very upset with the team... third win for Red Wings,in three games,so far, against Edmonton... Edmonton is a very young team, and improving, but six of their last seven losses, have been by one goal, which means that they are in games, but do not know how to put teams away, but honestly they will be a terror,in years to come... Edmonton had game on their sticks midway in third period, and had Detroit reeling, but Red Wings steadied themselves, and in "money time"(the last three minutes),they played like the Red Wings... over the last 42 games, when scoring four goals,or more, they have a record of 38-1-3... Henrik Zetterberg,Kris Draper, and Darren Helm, also scored for Red Wings, and Todd Bertuzzi's second goal was the game winning goal... Red Wings are second in Western Conference, but tied in points, behind Vancouver, who have won six games in row(Vancouver leads Western Conference, because of number of games played),but Red Wings lead the Central Division, over St. Louis, and in tie, with St. Louis, the defending Stanley Cup Champions,Chicago Blackhawks,by ten points... the Blackhawks are in deep trouble, because they have played more games than most teams, and they have been very inconsistent in winning, throughout the season...
