commentary...
Pavel Datsyuk scored two goals, and Henrik Zetterberg had two assists,as Red Wings dominate Lightning,6-2... they stopped Steven Stamkos, from scoring goals(NHL's leading goal scorer),even he had one assist... Tampa Bay did score 2:47 apart,in second period,to tie game,at 2,but it seemed like they were nervous, and turned over puck time over time in first two periods,as Detroit basically shut down Tampa's high-scoring offense, and played very good defense,on Stamkos,Martin St. Louis, and Vincent LeCavalier(their top stars),and pounded Dwayne Roloson, with six goals... Roloson was traded to Tampa Bay,the day after he was in goal, against Red Wings, for the New York Islanders, and he beat Red Wings,in overtime,on New Year's Day,because he impressed Steve Yzerman(Tampa Bay's general manager)... Red Wings are 24-5-2,in the last 31 games, and the last time they beat Red Wings, was in 2003(winning seven of the last eight games, against the Lightning)... Red Wings scored four unanswered goals,in last twenty-three minutes, basically dominating the last three minutes,of second period, scoring two goals in 1:26,late in second period, then pounded Tampa Bay,and Roloson, with two more goals,in third period, and playing very good defense, throughout the third period... Jimmy Howard played very good in net,but Red Wings' defense was very good,in front of him,and they killed off six minutes,of two penalties,in first period, basically within seconds(a minor penalty, and then a double minor high-sticking penalty),so the Red Wings are playing very well, and finally getting healthy,as a team, and i truly pity any team that they face in the playoffs, because they will be very dangerous to play, but to tell you the truth, they have a very tough schedule to end the season... they are not going into playoffs,as a team, very tired, and finally,healthy... WATCH OUT NHL!!!!!!!! the playoffs are a basic crap shoot, but i like their chances...
