So Long,Paul Kariya...
Paul Kariya announced his retirement today... drafted by Anaheim Ducks,in 1993(when i lived in Orange County,i remember him as a rookie),he played 989 games,with Anaheim,Colorado,Nashville,and St. Louis,and scored 402 goals,and 587 assists,for 989 points(a point per game player,exactly;rare for the NHL)... he was three-time first team All Star,and was a Canadian Olympian,in 1994,as an amateur,and was on 2002 Gold Medal winning team... he had two 100 point seasons,and one of 99 points,and he won the Lady Byng Trophy,for gentlemanly play... he graduated from the University of Maine(Black Bears)...
