Central Division breakdown-Chicago Blackhawks...

last year, the defending Stanley Cup champions were the Chicago Blackhawks, and they went out in first round,in seven games,in a very spirited series, against the Western Conference Champions Vancouver Canucks, nearly coming back, from a 3-0 deficit,to lose in seven games... they lost a ton of players to trades, and free agency, and honestly struggled in regular season, with a third, and fourth line, and a defensive core that had little experience...
this year, they should be better,by signing Andrew Brunette, from the Minnesota Wild,Jamal Mayers, from the San Jose Sharks, and everyone's favorite player to hate,Daniel Carcillo, who came from the Philadelphia Flyers, and a group of well known, but virtually unknown players, with grit... their scoring touch will be dangerous, with Viktor Stalberg,Patrick Kane,Patrick Sharp, and Marian Hossa, with Duncan Keith(who won Norris Trophy,in 2010),Brent Seabrook, and Niclas Hjalmarsson,on defense... they have a young, but very talented goalminder, who will be better,as years go on,in Corey Crawford... they have a very talented team, who did win Central Division,in 2010...
the Central Division will be very tough to play through this season, because every team, from Columbus to Detroit, will beat up on each other, and the playoff teams coming out of this division will be battle tested, through the fire of,perhaps, the toughest division, top to bottom,in the NHL...
