Red Wings re-sign Joey MacDonald to a two year contract... he was 5-5-3,in 13 games in relief,of Jimmy Howard,with a 2.53 goals against average(G.A.A.),and a save percentage,of .917,with one shutout,and was 10-9-1,as the Grand Rapids Griffiths' goaltender,before being called,as an injury replacement,as Chris Osgood had sports hernia surgery... it does not mean that he will backup goaltender,behind Howard,in Detroit... he will probably be in Grand Rapids,for at least another year...
