Red Wings' Jimmy Howard broke tip of index finger,on his blocker hand,on a close range shot,by Maxim LaPerriere,in third period,last night,against Vancouver... the Red Wings start a six game homestand,next Wednesday,against Edmonton... checkup on the finger's condition will be when Red Wings get home,from Phoenix...
