this is the last week of the 2013 NHL season,and the Red Wings are ninth,in the Western Conference standings(top eight for the Stanley Cup playoffs),one point behind the Columbus Blue Jackets,who are in eighth place... good news:they have a game in hand,bad news:they play Phoenix Coyotes,Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings,Nashville Predators,all at "the Joe"(Joe Louis Arena),in Detroit,and Dallas Stars,in Dallas... my opinion:they need six points of the eight points possible,to make the playoffs...
