Red Wings 4, Coyotes 0... three power play goals,an empty net goal,and a smothering defense,plus a stonewall named Jimmy Howard,in goal dominated Phoenix... two goals for Johan Franzen(first power play goal,and the empty net goal),Damien Brunner,and Valtteri Flippula all scored for the Red Wings... Howard stopped thirty four shots,against the Coyotes,as Red Wings ringed three shots off right goalpost(they do not count as shots on goal),in third period,behind Coyotes' goaltender Mike Smith,who actually did play a good game,but the Red Wings were hungrier than the Coyotes,as Red Wings' head coach Mike Babcock has said many times before that "we need to start on time"... they sure did "start on time",tonight...
