Craig MacTavish,who played for Boston Bruins,Edmonton Oilers,New York Rangers,Philadelphia Flyers,and St. Louis Blues... they grandfathered the rule into NHL,saying that players that did not wear helmets,when rule was passed,could play until they retired,without helmets...
