even though San Jose Sharks did beat Boston Bruins,last night,2-1,in regulation,they still are in tenth place,in Western Conference,and are in fourth place in Pacific Division,and because of the lack of regulation/overtime wins,any ties in division do not go their way,so far... they will need wins in six games(of their remaining eight games,seven of them playing a division rival),and winning five,of those games,in regulation,because any three point games(both teams get one point,and with winner getting two)will not help the Sharks... fact is that the Sharks need to win Pacific Division outright,because any ties they will lose,if they do not win games in regulation,because that is first tiebreaker for playoff seeding,if there is a tie between teams... even though they do have their season,in their own hands,the edge is razor thin... any mistakes,by the Sharks,will doom their playoff chances...
