Brendan,was it,against the rules???

i honestly believe that NHL director of player safety Brendan Shanahan has really no clue,on how to discipline NHL players during the Stanley Cup playoffs...
four examples:to only fine Shea Weber,for his WWE-style tactics,on slamming Henrik Zetterberg's head,not once,but twice,into the glass,and to consider it to be injurious,before leveling a suspension,was wrong... Brendan,was it against the rules?
Matt Carkner,of the Ottawa Senators, pounding the crap out of Brian Boyle,of the New York Rangers, with multiple shots to the body, and head, while Boyle was sprawled on the ice,and only give him an one game suspension, because Boyle was not injured, was, and is a joke... Brendan, was it against the rules?
the pier-six line brawls,in games, between Pittsburgh Penguins, and Philadelphia Flyers, and the game between the St. Louis Blues, and the San Jose Sharks,in which Dominic Moore, suffered a broken nose, after being "sucker-punched"(coach Todd McLellan's words, not mine)in the face, after the game... both brawls were ugly, and devastating,in scope,to the image,of the NHL... are the players going on a jamboree picnic, and sing?,or are you going to do something about this circus...
by the way, giving a three game suspension,to New York Rangers' Carl Hagelin, when he way-laid Daniel Alfordsson,of the Ottawa Senators.with a vicious elbow, during the series... oh,i forgot, did Alfordsson suffer a concussion, earlier in the season,in the same building, against the New York Rangers, and no one got suspended that time... oh,by the way, reports do say that Alfordsson does have a concussion, this time,too... only three games? Brendan, was it against the rules?
