Red Wings will play the Nashville Predators,in the first round... fifth place in the Western Conference... Nashville has two more regulation/overtime wins(right now-they play tonight,against Colorado Avalanche),so they get home ice,against Detroit,but honestly,it is a very good matchup for the Red Wings,because the last two years,they had to travel out West,in first round,and Nashville/Detroit is always a war,and very entertaining,for the fans... i would have hated to play out West(Phoenix Coyotes-the last two years),in first round(my opinion)... bring on the Stanley Cup playoffs...
side note:i have seen 81,of the 82 games that the Red Wings have played this year,live...
