Barry Trotz remains the only coach,in Predators' history, but over the past few years,he has trained, cajoled, and done a great deal, with this team that,if you had to label the team,it would be,"the little team that could",because this team has never had a great offense, and yet the team almost always is in the playoffs,or in the hunt, down to the wire, every year... i may not like "despise" the Predators, because they are in the Central Division, with the Red Wings, but i do really respect this team, because they do their teamwork, and system, down to near-perfection...
the team has basically the same roster,as the last few years, but they have Shea Weber(in arbitration),who had the second-hardest shot,in the NHL(104.5 miles per hour-measured into empty net, from 30 feet away),and Pekka Rinne, who was a Vezina Trophy finalist, last year, and may be the most talented goaltender,in the NHL,at this time... you have to jump on this team early,or it may be,"lights out",for your team, because Nashville is,defensively, one of the best teams, overall,in the NHL... if only they had a good offense, they would be tough to beat, and if they ever get rid of Trotz, they would be in trouble,period...
