Northeast Division breakdown-Ottawa Senators

where you are a young team with a pedigree like the Ottawa Senators,(a Stanley Cup Finals' appearance-2007,lost to Anaheim,in five games),and aging captain who is still one of the best,in NHL,in Daniel Alfredsson,you should be competitive in NHL... unfortunately,injuries to major pieces to their team put them,in 13th place in the Eastern Conference,last season,and you do not improve your overall team too much... trouble looms!!!!!!!! they do have talent,in Jason Spezza,Chris Phillips,Chris Neil,Milan Michalek,and Peter Regin,but they do not have enough grit,and toughness,to make a dent in NHL... Phillips,and Filip Kuba anchor a young but tough defense,but in goal,Craig Anderson,and Alex Auld do have NHL experience,but they do not impress me at all,as number one goaltenders,for any NHL team,so Ottawa have trouble in net,and unless they improve that part of their team,they will not get anywhere near the playoffs,this season... to tell the truth,i feel sorry for Alfredsson,because he is one of the best players,and he will remembered,as a player,with Hall of Fame credentials,on a very lousy team,most of his time,in the NHL...
